A new skull in Halo 2 Anniversary called the Prophet Birthday Party Skull. It makes you rock out with the Prophet while you knock him out.
There are new skulls for Halo 2 Anniversary in the Master Chief Collection. I show you the Prophet Birthday Party skull which changes the sounds when you melee the Prophet of Regret in Halo 2 Anniversary campaign. By doing this you also earn the achievement “Needs More Whammy Bar”
New Halo 2 Anniversary Cinematic from the mission Outskirts was teased by IGN. Blur Studios has remastered all the cinematics for Halo 2 Anniversary for Halo: The Master Chief Collection.

No details about Theater Mode for Halo: The Master Chief Collection have surfaced since Frank O’Connor stated will only exist for Halo 3 and Halo 4 back in June.
Until now, in a recent Halo Bulletin 343 Industries listed the controls for Halo: The Master Chief Collection and in the list of controls for Theater mode Halo 2 Anniversary Multiplayer is listed next to Halo 3 and Halo 4
“Theater Controls (Halo 2: Anniversary Multiplayer, Halo 3, Halo 4)
• Turn sensitivity: 4 levels
• Panning: Hold to pan, toggle
• Camera Speed: 4 levels
• Camera Thrust: 3 levels”
Note that Theater mode will only be for Halo 2 Anniversary’s Multiplayer and not Campaign. This is most likely due to the campaign having to run 2 engines simultaneously.
IGN released more Halo 2 Anniversary and Halo 2 Classic gameplay from Halo: The Master Chief Collection. This video also shows the Hornet in Halo 2 Anniversary can indeed fire rockets!
Check out the new gameplay footage of the Cairo Station and Delta Halo missions from Halo 2 Anniversary’s Campaign. Halo 2’s campaign is receiving the Anniversary treatment this November 11th as part of the Master Chief Collection. It will feature remastered graphics, remastered weapon sounds, a remastered soundtrack, and will run at 1080p and 60fps. Of course you’ll be able to instantly switch to classic mode and relive the campaign as it was 10 years ago – but this time in 1080p and 60fps. Enjoy!
