A visit deep inside ONI branch headquarters brings unexpected results. A voice from the past returns. And an in-flight incident sparks a flame that can’t be put out.
Halo 5 HUNT the TRUTH breakdown of Benjamin Giraud’s audio log Episode 5 – Out Of Time. Benjamin is called into ONI’s head office in Boston and is confronted by Michael Sullivan. Benjamin briefly interviews Franklin Mendez, who personally trained every spartan including John in the Spartan II and Spartan III programs. Benjamin is then fired and sent back home where he crosses paths with the fake Jacob Walker on the flight home. After confronting Walker, being sedated, awaking at home to a 50,000 cR fine, and discovering that he recorded the actions while he was sedated Ben doesn’t send ONI his raw files and embarks on telling the true story of the Master Chief.

Get Your Voice in Halo 5 HUNT the TRUTH! #HUNTtheTRUTH
YOU have the opportunity to send your voice to be part of the Hunt the Truth podcast! In a future episode, Benjamin Giraud will review and listen to voice messages. Messages recorded by fans like you!
All you have to do is make a 15-20 second long audio message and get into character as an ordinary Unified Earth Government citizen – that means you don’t know about the events in the Halo video games or the novels. You will be in the dark just as Ben is.
Choose a character type:
- People who support Ben in his hunt. You have questions about MC, ONI, and what the government is trying to hide.
- People who love the Master Chief and don’t appreciate Ben poking around with his research. “Leave the hero alone!”
- People who reveling in the anarchy – You think this whole investigation is a total joke.
Record and upload a 15-20 second voice message to YouTube. Set the video as “Unlisted” (NOT private). Submit the unlisted video URL tohttp://huntthetruth.tumblr.com/submit before April 27th 11:59pm Pacific.

Rumors of discontent across the military and rumblings in the Outer Colonies are detected. A mandatory meeting at ONI branch headquarters takes an unexpected turn.

Benjamin is called to visit Michael Sullivan at ONI headquarters believing that his conversation with Thomas Wu was flagged. Before meeting with Sully, Benjamin meets with Petra Janecek a fellow war journalist who suggests that Ben backs up his files before meeting with ONI.

Destiny Jukebox Easter Egg – Siege of Madrigal Remix!
As of the Destiny Update 1.1.2, Bungie added a Jukebox in Destiny located in the Tower and it has an audio Easter egg, a Siege of Madrigal Remix!
Just head to the hangar side and down these stairs to the bar. When you activate it, it plays a random 20 second song. There appears to be 9 different songs, including Hope For The Future by Paul McCartney, a rock remix of Destiny’s Cabal theme soundtrack, a banjo remix of the Destiny theme, and a Siege of Madrigal Remix!
Bungie used Siege of Madrigal in the game Myth and it has since appeared as Easter Eggs in ever Halo game made by Bungie – Halo CE, Halo CE Anniversary, Halo 2, Halo 3, Halo 3: ODST, and Halo Reach. These Easter eggs also appeared in their respective locations in the Master Chief Collection with achievements!
And now you can add Destiny to the list – I’m just surprised it took them this long to decide to add it into their game, since it’s been in every Bungie game since Myth.
