Halo 5: Guardians January Content Update is titled Infinity’s Armory! Scheduled to release at the end of the month.

Back in December a teaser was released that showed off the MARK V armor set, some new weapon skins, and a Covenant Carbine that fired needler rounds. You can check it out here.

343 also revealed this screenshot of a new map in the updated and teased the following concept art for a game type that will be coming in the future.

343 Industries is celebrating the American dates of Thanksgiving by giving players a FREE Promotional REQ pack! Inside the REQ Pack is an Ultra Rare “Thanks Given” emblem which you can sports online. The emblem is actually of Spartan Locke’s visor with a little turkey flair.

Halo 5: Guardians – Battle of Shadow and Light Update! (48 New REQs & BTB)

Next week, Halo 5: Guardians will receive it’s first major update titled “Battle of Shadow and Light”!

The update releases the week of November 16th and with it comes 48 New REQs & Big Team Battle (8v8). BTB will launch next week with 4 maps made in forge. Those maps are Deadlock, Basin, Guillotine, and Recurve. BTB will function just like Arena – so if you want classic large scale action without the chaos of REQs this is for you.

However, if you’re a REQ collecting addict like myself, here are the 48 new REQs that are being added to the game.

  • Uncommon Tracer Armor Set
  • Ultra Rare and Legendary Light Rifle
  • Rare Green Machine Weapon skin for all Loadout Weapons
