A trio of Bungie artists sits down to deliver running commentary about Destiny’s E3 Gameplay reveal.
Your Fireteam for this mission will be three of the artists who led the charge to build that brave new world. Experience the adventure that unfolded at E3 through their eyes, and get to know some of the people who are making this game.
They are: Ryan Ellis, Technical Art Director Marke Pedersen, Environment Art Lead Michael Zak, Senior Art Lead
At E3, they were members of our away team. Had you scored a seat as a member of our audience, you would have seen them showing off their work (and the work of their fearless peers) to the world. Now, they’re dishing out commentary on those first steps taken by Guardians into the world they helped to create.

From the 343 Industries Livestream at RTX 2013. “Pitfall”, a remake of the classic Halo 3 multplayer map “The Pit”. This is from the Champions Bundle and part of the Bullseye Pack!
This map needs no introduction. It’s a remake of the classic Halo 3 map “The Pit” with some minor changes. Such as a bigger-wider overshield tunnel with a gravity lift to the sword room, and a drop down hatch in the sword room. There will be a vanilla version for multiplayer matches though.

Instead of the usual one day festivities that take place on Bungie Day, July 7th – the 7th day of the 7th month… they love the number 7. Bungie has decided to celebrate with Bungie Week.
Day 1: They announced some new avatars and profile signatures on bungie.net to show the world your loyalty and years spent prowling the forums.
Day 2: Is where we are right now. After many requests Bungie has decided to reproduce their E3 Gameplay demo in 1080p high definition quality. Many E3 live stream viewers were treated to pixelated and sub-par HD quality and the broadcast was plagued with video and audio difficulties.
In this version, the fireteam follow the same paths with new commentary and minor differences, but otherwise the same gameplay we have seen before – just without any hiccups.
As a result my analysis of this demo still stands as is. Click here to watch it.

As many of you are aware, the number of players online player Halo 4 has been on the decline. A popular image has been floating around the inter-webs demonstrating that there is in fact an elephant in the room… or lack there of.
Shown by this image, Halo Reach was pulling higher numbers this point in it’s video game life cycle than Halo 4. Which is a little disheartening and begs the question what does 343 Industries have to do for Halo 5 and beyond?
Here’s also a screenshot of the Halo 4 playlists and numbers shortly after the midnight release November 6th PST/PDT for comparison.
As the title says, Microsoft made headlines when they announced the change or reversal of their Xbox One DRM policies. In this video I discuss the news and what it means for some innovative Xbox One features that unfortunately won’t exist because of these changes.
