Thanks to some savvy tech people out there, images of Halo 4’s next DLC, the Majestic Map Pack, have been leaked. Here we gets some great, but brief, looks at the maps that will be in the DLC. We are expecting the map pack to be released February 25th and expecting a trailer video to be released sometime this week. Enjoy!
Side note. These maps are going to be small to medium sized maps, as opposed to the Crimson Map Pack which had medium to large sized maps.

Hello there, back again with another Halo Waypoint bulletin. This time we have more than just Halo 4 Matchmaking Updates we also have a little bit of Title Update Information. Let’s break down this weeks bulletin. And as always you can read the entire thing here!
Sparth from 343 Industries shared the following images via tumblr/twitter recently. This is concept image for a Halo 4 DLC Multiplayer Map, most likely for the Majestic Map Pack which is rumored to be released Feb 25th (which should have a trailer release within the week). The concept art is re-igniting some old memories of Halo 3’s Narrows and Construct with its forerunner style and elongated structures (assuming this is a side-view of the map).

If you’re a gamer you have without a doubt heard someone shout out “You try hard” in frustration. Whether or not it was in a result to your actions or those of others, the phrase is ridiculous in it’s own right.
Allow me to break it down. Because last time I checked, there are no rules on the battlefield 😉 … and losing sucks.

As always, here’s the weekly update to Halo 4’s Multiplayer. You can read the Halo Waypoint Bulletin in it’s entirety here, but here are the highlights.
Here’s the information in more detail as provided by 343i,
Since I post things related to Halo whether it’s Halo news, content, discussions, etc… so I thought I’d share my latest addition to my Halo paraphernalia. My very first @ScufGaming controller.
So here is an un-boxing of the Halo 4 Competitive Gaming Bundle (XBOX 360 Wired). This controller features A/B paddles on the bottom, scuf grip texture on the back of the controller for extra grip, a regular concave Xbox left thumbstick, a doomed right thumbstick, and white out buttons. The bundle also comes with a Scuf t-shirt, Gamer Grip (a no sweat solution), and a mini scuf gaming lanyard.

Well similar to the unique mini-covenant discovered in an early episode of Spartan Ops. ForgeWorldMaps has discovered 2 separate game types that allow you to be either an Oversize giant Spartan or a miniature Spartan. Unfortunately it appears that you can only have one or the other, as there is no game file that has both currently (but who knows).
So if you want to have a good laugh or make some interesting videos in Halo 4. Here’s the preview and where to download the gametype file.

343 Industries Matchmaking Systems Team made a post in the Halo Waypoint forums in regards to a competitive playlist set to debut around the middle of February (before the launch of CSR in April).
The post indicates this playlist will feature heavily modified and altered versions of the following gametypes.
The post stated that they “envision it as both the go-to place for competitive play and the premier playlist to get your 50 [CSR] in”
They plan to share the first outline of the settings next week to collect community feedback so they can continually tune the settings. Here are the early details so far:

Unfortunately I have the be the bearer of bad news. 343 Industries did state in a bulletin following the early weeks of Halo 4’s launch answering questions, and one of them was asking if they had any plans to have Theater Mode support for Halo 4’s Campaign and/or Spartan Ops.
As of January 23rd, 2013 bs angel confirmed the bad news that at this point they have no plans to implement Theater mode support for Campaign or Spartan Ops. This does not rule it out completely, but it definitely rules it out for the time being. This is a sad day for many people who enjoy the artistic side of making machinimas or screenshots and for those who enjoy sharing those awesome moments, or moments you aren’t proud of but still can’t help sharing. I’m talking about you fails of the weak.
