Forerunner: The Most Overpowered Weapon Class in Halo 4?

forerunner-arsenal

I bring to you a Halo 4 video by a friend of mine, H3AsiiM. He is discussing whether or not the weapons that fall into the Forerunner arsenal are “Overpowered” (“OP“). He addresses the weapons that appear via ordnance drops and those available for loadout customization. In the gameplay he is using a full Forerunner loadout.

What are your thoughts? Should other weapons be buffed up, or have the forerunner weapons altered?

The boltshot alone is a hot topic right now. What are your thoughts on the Boltshot? I’m personally fine with where it stands currently, but I’m not opposed to having the Boltshot patched in some fashion.

Leave your thoughts on H3AsiiM‘s video!

Halo 2 PC Multiplayer Closing February 15th 2013

It’s sad to hear it go, but the fabled Halo 2 Multiplayer will now only exist via LAN connections. First the service was shutdown on the Xbox 3 years ago, and now the PC version will suffer the same fate.

Wildly regarded as the most competitive friendly Halo multiplayer is now over.

To switch gears ever so slightly, we’re sad to report that the service end-date for Halo 2 PC Multiplayer will be February 15, 2013. We’ve been monitoring the population for months, and it’s been peaking consistently at approximately 20 players or less. Those that own this game can continue to enjoy Multiplayer over LAN after that date; however our network services will be turned off at that time. We love you, Halo 2 PC, and you will live forever in our hearts.

Halo 4 Let’s Play – The End, Welcome Home John

Here it is, the final mission in Halo 4’s Campaign, Midnight, and the Epilogue for Halo 4. This can only mean one thing, that my let’s play/play-through/walkthrough of Halo 4’s Campaign is unfortunately over with.

For those who don’t know, I was recording myself playing the campaign with no prior knowledge, on Normal difficulty, with a webcam to record my reactions. It’s was meant to be a fun, entertaining, and casual series on my channel.

As a result, you can see my reactions to the final scene in Halo 4 between Master Chief and Cortana, over the incredible sad but amazing soundtrack entitled “Green and Blue” (evidently, for a reason).

What were your reactions to the final scene with Master Chief and Cortana? What about the Didact, do you believe he is gone?

50,000 XP for Halo 4 (Waypoint Code) & LASO Emblem

Hi there, once again we have a code for XP in Halo 4. With this code you get 50,000 XP and the LASO Emblem for Halo 4.

Unfortunately this one comes with a catch, you must complete the campaign on Legendary with All Skulls On. You can do this in Co-Op, which would and will be much easier on your blood pressure.

You can enter the code via the Xbox and launching Halo Waypoint and entering the classified section or you can enter the code on your computer here (much easier)

Here’s a guide on how to enter the code to earn the unlocks, provided you meet the requirements.

Halo 4 Infinity Challenge Playlist Update 4 – Dominion

Dominion Inf Challenge

Sorry about the lack of updates. 343 has been enjoying the holiday break and hopefully this Thursday a regular HaloWaypoint Bulletin will be posted. Last week’s playlist for the Halo 4 Infinity Challenge contest was Regicide. I can assure you, we’re all probably sick of people camping for King bonuses, and/or boosting, and/or Active Camo camping, but that’s in the past now.

For the last week of qualifying, the focus will be on Dominion. So party up, capture those bases, and hopefully start a Sudden Death or two 😉

HaloWaypoint has been kind enough to provide some pointers for Dominion, which is a new multiplayer game mode to the Halo franchise.

“In this mode, you’ll need to work with your team to capture, fortify and resupply bases in order to win. To maximize your point total in this playlist, stay focused on the objective – while others may be focusing on kills, you may able to get several hundred points by sneakily capturing and defending bases. Remember that you also get points for destroying turrets and assisting captures, so sticking with your team is your best bet. This week, the Infinity Challenge playlist replaces the normal Dominion playlist, but you do not need to be registered for the tournament to play Dominion this week.” – HaloWaypoint
